Conway City Council

Meet Spencer

Spencer Hawks has served on the Conway City Council since 2024, bringing experience in public service, business, and real estate to the community he has long called home.

Public Service

Before joining the Conway City Council, Spencer represented Conway in the Arkansas House of Representatives. First elected in 2018 and reelected without opposition in 2020, he served on committees focused on local government, the judiciary, energy, and legislative oversight.

That experience, combined with his service on the City Council, gives Spencer a firsthand understanding of local government and the responsibility that comes with representing his community.

Leadership

Spencer is the owner of Hawks Realty and has built his career working with property owners, businesses, families, and investors throughout the community.

His peers have recognized his leadership in the profession. Spencer has served as President of the Faulkner County Board of REALTORS®, was named the 2020 Arkansas REALTOR® of the Year, and was inducted into Omega Tau Rho for distinguished service to the real estate profession.

Conway is Home

A Conway native and graduate of Central Baptist College, Spencer is also a published children’s author and is fluent in Spanish.

He lives in Conway with his wife and their three children, along with the family’s labradoodle, Smokey. For Spencer, serving on the City Council is an opportunity to give back to the community that he and his family are proud to call home.
